The heavy metal band, Motley Crue, has announced that they are retiring. They are planning 72 goodbye concerts around the United States and Canada.

According to the Associated Press, Lead Singer Vince Neil told reporters that he wants the founding members of Motley Crue to go out on top.

Their legacy will be celebrated during their tour. The band catapulted to success in 1980. Members of the group include Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, and Vince Neil. Favorite albums include Theatre of Pain, Girls, Girls, Girls, Motley Crue, Generation Swine, and Saints of Los Angeles.

Fans might be dismayed that the band will no longer be performing after 2015, but the concert will give devotees a chance to hear the songs that made the band famous. Heavy Metal Rocker Alice Cooper will join the group during the farewell tour. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alice Cooper said at a press conference, “With Motley Crue and Alice Cooper on a tour, you’re going to get rock and roll.”
