An overnight bust in New York City took down a multimillion-dollar prostitution and drug ring just before the Super Bowl on Sunday.

According to the New York Post, authorities busted a high-priced Asian prostitution ring in Manhattan on Thursday. Two drug dealers and the madams of the operation were arrested.

Investigators had been tracking the ring for almost a year. They knew the timing for the take down was right since the ring expected to gain business from visitors who are in town for the upcoming Super Bowl.

The New York Daily News notes that Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said the operators “had identified people who they thought were high rollers who might be coming to New York.

“They had a huge increase in their text messages to people coming in from out of town, saying, 'We've updated our girls, new and sexy girls for you.’ It was a very aggressive push.”

The high-priced hooker ring was mostly made up of Korean women who charged thousands of dollars for their services.
