Quentin Tarantino has decided to call it quits on his new film The Hateful Eight after the script was leaked.

Deadlinehref> reported that the director gave the first draft of his script to a small group of people to look over.

“I’m very, very depressed,” Tarantino told Deadline. “I finished a script, a first draft, and I didn’t mean to shoot it until next winter, a year from now. I gave it to six people, and apparently it’s gotten out today.”

Tarantino gave the script to actors Bruce Dern, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen. Varietyhref> noted that Tarantino believes that the leak may have came from an agent from CAA, the agency that represents Bruce Dern. The agency said that this was impossible.

Tarantino also gave a copy of the script to Django Unchained producer Reggie Hudlin. Hudlin let the agent read the script, according to Tarantino, but the agent didn’t leave with a copy.

According to Empirehref>, Tarantino’s supposed next step is to work with publishers on adapting the script into book form.
