Rebel Wilson has joined the cast of He's F--ing Perfect from Universal pictures. Already signed on to the film is Amanda Seyfried.
The film will tell the story of an Internet-savvy woman who convinces her friend to dump her current boyfriend so that she can date him instead. Seyfried and Wilson star as the friend duo.
Variety reported that Jake Symanski is signed on to direct the project and that Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick are producing in part with Gary Sanchez Productions. Symanski is known for his work at Funny or Die and Saturday Night Live.
Lauryn Kahn wrote the script that will feature the comedic female duo. Female comedians have had large successes at the box office so far, with films like Pitch Perfect, The Heat and Bridesmaids posting large dollar amounts at the box office.
No release date has been announced for the upcoming feature.
ComingSoon.net added that Wilson will also be staring in the upcoming Night at the Museum 3.
