Shakira and Rihanna have teamed up for a female powerhouse single, "Can't Remember To Forget You." This will be the first single off of Shakira's forthcoming studio album.

Rihanna tweeted the single out to her fans earlier today.

Rihanna is no stranger to collaborations, her hit with Eminem "The Monster" has topped the Billboard charts for week.

The single is strong and features the best of the best when it comes to the vocal talent of both Shakira and Rihanna. Shakira brings her strong latin roots and adds a few elements of rock 'n' roll to her performance.

The song kicks into high gear when it reaches the first chorus. Shakira sings, "I keep forgetting I should let you go." Following the first chorus Rihanna arrives on the song and comes in swinging. Her vocal performance is smooth, sexy and compliments Shakira in a way that seems like they have been making music for a while.

The instrumentals feel modern but familiar and highlight the focus of this song which is the vocal performance from Shakira and Rihanna. Rihanna's style seems like it embraced more of a Latin vibe to match Shakira but the change feels modern and fresh.

The single is already gaining momentum on social media and YouTube.
