Shaun White is mostly known for his accomplishments in skateboarding and snowboarding. The Olympian is well known for sports, but now consider him in the music industry.
White’s band, Bad Things, released their debut album on Tuesday, according to Fox Sports. They performed at events like Lollapalooza last year as well, said Fox.
White has obviously been busy, training for the XXII Winter Olympic Winter Games an apparently playing music in a band. This is a great time to promote their album with the Winter Games not far.
In an interview with the Associated Press, White said, "The band is the only thing I do that involves teamwork, really. It doesn't matter how good I am at playing the guitar. The band has to come up with a great song to make it work,” reports NBC San Diego.
It is refreshing to see such a superstar not fall to ego, but rather lean on friends and venture into new avenues.
