The annual music conference South By Southwest, SXSW, has named 742 additional bands to the 5 day event held in the “music capitol of the world” Austin, Texas. SXSW brings industry big-wigs with musicians, mainstream and indie, together for 5 days in March, mixing live performances with an industry trade show.

According to Rolling Stone the more well-known names just added to the line-up include pop artist Charli XCX, Primus’ Les Claypool’s side-project Duo De Twang, and Melissa Etheridge.

Spin Magazine noted all 742 additional acts, bringing the total to over 1,200 acts, which will surely see more added soon considering there were over 2,200 artists for 2013. The list brings an eclectic mix of artists together including Julian Lennon, punk group Off!, metal outfits Tusk, Obliteration, and 90’s comeback artists Fuel and Toad the Wet Sprocket.

Last minute additions in years past has usually brought out massive star-power, which last year featured Justin Timberlake, Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, Bruce Springsteen, and Prince, to name a few.

SXSW 2014 will be run from March 11 through March 16.
