The 56th annual Grammy awards took place Sunday night, and it was an event to remember. The night started out with the red carpet, where the fashion took charge. Taylor Swift stunned in a floor-length silver Gucci gown. Katy Perry, who is known for her quirky red carpet style, wore a music note printed Valentino gown. Madonna showed up in a Ralph Lauren suit that matched her son, David’s, who was her date for the night. Ciara debuted her baby bump in a curve-hugging gold Emilio Pucci gown. A big trend for the men of the evening was velvet suits, which were worn by Robin Thicke, Macklemore, and host L.L Cool J. The talk of the night, though, was Pharrell Willams, who showed up in jeans, a track jacket, and a giant hat.
