On Thursday, “The Fault in our Stars” was on the top of Amazon’s bestseller list, just one day after the movie trailer was released.
The film is about two cancer patients, Hazel and Gus (played by Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgot), who meet at a cancer support group and fall in love. The trailer attracted those who have already read the novel as well as those who haven’t. Needless to say, it sent many people out to pick up their own copy and see what all the hype is about.
“The Fault in our Stars”, a popular novel by John Greene, is no stranger to the top seller list, which is has appeared on for weeks. John Greene is ranked No.2 of all authors on the Amazon site, reports Latimes.com.
According to Usatoday.com,the novel was No. 5 in annual sales on USA TODAY's Best-Selling Books list in 2013.
For those who haven’t read the book, you still have time! “The Fault in our Stars” comes out in theaters on June 6, 2014.
