California rock band, Tool, has announced that they will be embarking on a full North American tour for the first time since 2011. The band played live back in 2013, but only played shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

The tour will be taking place in Mexico and the United States. Billboard reported.

The tour kicks off on March 4 in Washington and will end in Veracuz, Mexico, at the Festival Cumbre Tajin on March 21.The full tour dates have been listed on the bands website.

Back in 2006, Tool released 10,000 Days which sold 564,000 copies sold in its first week. Fans have been waiting for a while for a new album from the band and with this recent tour announcement, odds are that a new album will be on the way from the rock driven band.

Drummer Danny Carey, said in an interview back in July that the album was most likely to come in early 2014.

Tickets for the U.S. dates will go on sale January 25, added Spin.
