Infamous Toronto mayor Rob Ford registered to run for another term Thursday.

According to the Toronto Star, Ford put his name on the ballot for the 2014 mayoral election and would like to be judged on his fiscal record.

"If you want to get personal, that's fine," he told the Star reporters. "I'm sticking to my record, and talk is cheap. You're going to see action like you've never seen before."

USA Today notes that Ford was the first candidate to show up at City Hall when registration opened for the city's municipal election.

Ford has faced much criticism and calls to step down after he admitted last year that he smoked crack while he was drunk. Despite his critics, the outrageous mayor said that he would run for re-election. He has also said that he is the best mayor Toronto has ever had and promised "Ford more years."

Ford’s drug use was first reported in May after a video of him appearing to smoke a crack pipe surfaced. Ford denied his use at first, but admitted to it after Toronto police obtained a copy of the video.
