Universal Pictures announced a slew of new release dates Thursday afternoon. The studio finally set a date for Crimson Peak, Guillermo Del Toro’s follow-up to Pacific Rim starring Jessica Chastain, and the just-confirmed Pitch Perfect 2 with Elizabeth Banks directing.

Del Toro moved quickly to get Crimson Peak off the ground, even as Pacific Rim was still in theaters last summer. The film stars Chastain, The AvengersTom Hiddleston and Alice In Wonderland’s Mia Wasikowska. As Variety notes, it is the studio’s first collaboration with Legendary Pictures, which has just ended its long-term deal with Warner Bros. Legendary also worked on Pacific Rim.

Crimson Peak is scheduled for release on Oct. 16, 2015.

Earlier this week, Universal confirmed that actress Banks will make her directing debut with Pitch Perfect 2. The original film with Rebel Wilson and Anna Kendrick was a surprise hit at the box office and the soundtrack was an even bigger hit on the Billboard charts, so a sequel is no surprise. TheWrap notes that the film will hit theaters on May 15, 2015.

Those two projects aren’t the only ones with new release dates. As Above So Below, a found-footage film, will open on Aug. 15, 2015. A Walk Among Tombstones with Liam Neeson is set for Sept. 19, 2014, Ouija got dated for Oct. 24, 2014 and audiences will climb Everest on Feb. 27, 2015.

In-house animation studio Illumination also had its untitled project rescheduled for Feb. 12, 2016.
