AMC has just released a new teaser for The Walking Dead’s mid-season premiere next month. The zombie drama’s fourth season starts up again on Feb. 9 at 9 p.m.
The 30-second spot shows that the writers are not leaving behind any members of the main group of survivors. At the end of the mid-season finale, everyone left the prison following a costly battle with the now-dead Governor. Some left together, while Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his son Carl (Chandler Riggs) were separated from the main group.
Everyone makes brief appearances in the teaser and it’s clear that they want to move forward. The tagline AMC is using for the remaining episodes is “Don’t Look Back” and Rick is out to prove that “We’re survivors.”
“I know we’ll never get things back to the way they used to be,” Rick says. “But we’re not too far gone.”
Check out the teaser below. Of course, it includes as much zombie violence as you can take in 30 seconds.
