Gregg Allman might have to search for new members of the Allman Brothers Band. Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks say 2014 is the last year with the band.

The guitarists said in a statement, “We are both preparing to dig even deeper into our various creative and musical endeavors, and as a result, 2014 will be our final year as part of the band,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

They have a few performances scheduled before then. This Friday, the Allmans will be playing at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. They are also slated to play in March at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Gregg Allman, 66, will have to decide if he is going to replace the guitarists if the band is to tour in the future.

Allman rose to stardom with the song "Midnight Rider." He is the subject of a new biopic. The movie, Midnight Rider, is based on Gregg Allman’s biography, “My Cross To Bear.” According to Variety, the movie considers Allman’s impressive career, his struggle with drugs, and his recovery. William Hurt is slated to star in the movie, and shooting is set for February.
