Wes Anderson, acclaimed director of The Royal Tannenbaums will be screening his new film The Grand Budapest Hotel at the 10th edition of the Glasgow Film Festival. Anderson closed out the first Glasgow Film Festival with his film, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.
The movie stars Ralph Fiennes as Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel. The film is not at a loss for star power, also featuring Edward Norton, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody, Harvey Keitel, and F. Murray Abraham, and Willem Dafoe. The movie had its debut at the Berlin International Film Festival, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Fox Searchlight will release the picture on March 7, according to Variety. Wes Anderson, the writer and director of The Grand Budapest Hotel, is also known for his work on Rushmore and Moonrise Kingdom.
The Glasgow Film Festival runs from Feb. 20 to March 2. The festival is supported by Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, Event Scotland, and Creative Scotland.
