Rapper Young Jeezy was arrested in Atlanta after a fight with his son that occurred in 2012.

According to the charging documents found by TMZ, Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Jenkins, was fighting with his teenage son in a bathroom, where he threw the boy into a glass shower door, causing him to hit his head. The rapper then punched the boy in his face, dragged him into a bedroom, threw him on the bed, and continued to belabor him. The teenager attempted to escape the fight, but one of his father's bodyguards blocked his path and would not let him leave. Jeezy's son also stated that his father told him, “I will kill you. I will put a bullet in your head right now. If I could get away with it, I would kill you,” as he was choking him.

Hollywood Life reported that the 36-year old rapper turned himself in to the authorities on January 3 because of the issuing of a grand jury warrant. He was shortly released after paying the $45,000 bail.
