Four years ago, Young Money released their own compilation album now the entertainment group is back to released another compilation album, Rise of an Empire. The album is expected to be released on March 11, 2014.
Rise of an Empire will feature a variety of Young MOney artists including; Lil Wayne, with Drake, Nicki Minaj, Gudda Gudda, Tyga, Shanell and Christina Milian, Billboard reported.
The first single off of the album is "We Alright" which features the musical stylings of Wayne, Birdman and a new rapper who was just signed to Young Money Records, Euro, Vibe reported.
Drake will be featured on Rise and gave his fans a sneak peak at what his track would sound like when he performed a few lines of "Trophies" when he hosted Saturday Night Live.
Cortez Bryant, Young Money's COO talked about the importance of bringing all of the artists together on one album, after the success of their first compilation album. "We Are Young Money' helped launch the careers of our first generation of acts with Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga. Even though we've been honored with accolades as a company, our hunger hasn't diminished or dwindled. We're hungrier than ever, and we're still building," said Bryant.
We Are Young Money sold over 142,000 copies in its first week released and peaked within the top ten of Billboards album charts.
