The movie, Frozen, was the big winner at the 41st Annual Annie Awards on Saturday at UCLA’s Royce Hall. The Annie Awards honor the best in animation.

Frozen has had an outstanding year. It opened wide in November, and has earned more $800 million so far at the box office, according to Variety. Frozen is an animated story about a fearless optimist, Anna, who teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey. Kristen Bell plays Anna, and Jonathan Groff plays Kristoff. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee directed the film. It won the Golden Globe for animated feature in January. At the Annie Awards, Frozen won best animated feature, best direction, music, production design and voice acting.

Other winners of the evening included Pixar Animation Studio’s Monsters University. The film was honored for storyboarding and editing. Japanese animator, Hayao Miyazaki, won the award for best writing for his final film, The Wind Rises, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

At the ceremony, Steven Spielberg took home the Winsor McCay Award. The Winsor McCay Award is given to individuals in recognition of lifetime or career contributions in animation. It is presented every year at the Annie Awards.
