Annapurna Pictures and Sony Pictures' American Hustle crossed the $200 million mark worldwide at the box office on Thursday.

The film has pulled in $138.7 million at the domestic box office, reports Deadline, while adding $64 million internationally. The film still hasn't opened in several overseas territories, like Germany and Russia.

The film has landed at the top spot in its debut weekend in New Zealand, Australia and the U.K. This weekend, Hustle will roll out in Brazil.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, American Hustle has become director David O. Russell's top grossing film domestically. The previous high was Silver Linings Playbook, which earned $132.1 million.

The highest grossing film for Annapurna before Hustle was Zero Dark Thirty, which managed $133 million worldwide.

In addition, to doing well commercially, the film is critically-acclaimed and could do well at the upcoming Academy Awards after snagging several nominations. American Hustle pulled in 10 nominations, such as best picture, director, screenplay, actor, actress and supporting noms.
