On Thursday evening, mourners of Philip Seymour Hoffman attended his wake in New York to show their support and admiration.
According to E News, Co-stars, like Amy Adams, who played Seymour’s wife in The Master, Michelle Williams, Cate Blanchett, and Justin Theroux of Seymour were in attendance at his viewing at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home on Madison Avenue, along with family and friends. A private viewing will be held at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church in Manhattan on Friday.
After she was asked about co-staring with Seymour, the source told US Magazine, "Amy talked about how he was the greatest actor she had worked with, and couldn't even tell stories about him without crying.”
Hoffman died of an apparent drug overdose on Sunday, February 2. Bags of heroin-some empty- were strewn about his apartment. The actor was found by with a used needle still in his arm. The autopsy was ruled inconclusive until the toxicology report came back.
4 drug dealers were arrested earlier this week in connection to Hoffman’s death.
