Authorities in Virginia made an arrest on Wednesday for the theft of a missing police captain’s vehicle, however, there is still no sign of the officer.

According to CNN, investigators have arrested three people in connection with the theft of Captain Kevin Quick’s truck and linked the vehicle to a Sunday night robbery and shooting.

On Tuesday, WWBT reported on the possible connection given that Quick’s truck was found just four miles away from the scene of the shooting.

Three siblings, two sisters and their brother were arrested Tuesday night at a hotel in Alexandria, spokeswoman for the Virginia State Police Corinne Geller said.

Daniel Mathis and Mersadies Shelton were charged with grand larceny in the theft and their sister Shantai Shelton, was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.

Investigators hope the trio can provide them with information on what happened to Quick.

The 45-year-old captain was last seen leaving his mother’s house last Friday evening and was headed to see a friend, but he never showed up. His family reported him missing the next day.
