This has been a historic year already for the Billboard Dance charts. New artist, Avicii has become the first act in the short 13-month history of Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, to take over the top spot on the board with two different singles. Avicii set the record with his songs, "Wake Me Up" and "Hey Brother."
"Wake Me Up" is spending another week at number one on the Dance Streaming Songs charts as well.
Katy Perry also set records on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs when she scored her 13th consecutive (and overall) No. 1 on the charts, with her single "Dark Horse" Billboard reported.
Perry recently released a teaser trailer for her upcoming music video for "Dark Horse" and has gotten fans talking about the upcoming video.
E! Online reported that the video shows Perry as a unique Egyptian Queen. In the video Perry takes on the name Katy Pätra.
