Bruno Mars made headlines with his Super Bowl performance that featured the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Following his halftime performance Mars has announced a large international tour and is now heading for the top three spots on the Billboard hot 200 charts.

His second album, Unorthodox Jukebox is heading to the top of the charts following his performance. Mars earned the title of having the largest TV audience ever for a Super Bowl halftime with 115.3 million U.S. TV viewers, Billboard reported.

Mars broke the record that was held by Madonna of 114 million viewers, Deadline added.

Industry forecasters have the album selling 70,000 to 80,000 by the end of this week.

Sales from the previous week had Unorthodox Jukebox moving up from the 18th spot on the chart to number seven on the Billboard charts. This was an 180% increase.

Mars is also seeing an increase in sales from his first album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, which sold over 25,000 copies since the Super Bowl performance.
