A business-savvy Girl Scout and her mother wanted to boost her sales of the delicious Girl Scout Cookies, so they hatched a unique plan. They decided to sell the cookies outside a San Francisco medicinal marijuana clinic and stuck gold.

Danielle Lei, 13, and her mother Carol set up shop outside the Green Cross on President’s Day. In just two hours, she sold out all her Dulce de Leches boxes and most of her Tagalongs. Carol told Mashable that 117 boxes were sold. That was 37 more boxes than what they sold the next day outside a Safeway store.

While Carol has actually allowed her daughters to sell the cookies outside medical marijuana clinics before, this was the first time they did so at that Green Cross. The clinic’s staff was completely fine with Danielle doing so and even bought some themselves.

“It's no secret that cannabis is a powerful appetite stimulant, so we knew this would be a very beneficial endeavor for the girls,” Green Cross staffer Holli Bert told Mashable. “It's all about location, and what better place to sell Girl Scout cookies than outside a medical cannabis collective?"

According to NBC Bay Area, Carol is not allowing Danielle to do interviews. However, the media will probably keep a close eye on the Green Cross on Saturday, as they’ve invited Danielle back.

So what do the Girl Scouts of Northern California think about Danielle’s business strategy? “The mom decided this was a place she was comfortable with her daughter being at,” Dana Allen, director of marketing and communications, told Mashable. “We're not telling people where they can and can't go if it's a legitimate business.”

However, the Girl Scouts of Colorado will not let its members do the same.
