Celebrating her rite of passage after surviving cancer, this young lady deserves a fiesta to remember.
According to ABC, Frida Laguna celebrated her quinceañera at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles this past weekend thanks to a lot of very special people.
Being a teen can be complicated, let alone while dealing with a life-threatening illness. Laguna inspired so many around her with her strong-willed spirit for survival that they could not help but make her dream party come true.
Benzinga writes, to make the Hollywood inspired party come to life, several organizations offered their support to Laguna including: Children’s Hospital, Quinceanera.com, Frito Lay and Carlton Hair Studios just to name a few.
This fairy tale day for the young lady was filled with love and because of that feeling, a generous donor made a contribution.
Dr. Feliciano Serrano, member of a philanthropic group called Lost Compadres, donated $10,000 to the hospital in Laguna’s name to help other kids and their families similar to her situation, reports Benzinga.
Not only did a tough young lady get to celebrate her quinceañera despite all the hardships she has endeared over the last few years, but support to families and kids that have comparable circumstances was given compassionately.
