Team Blake member and winner of NBC's The Voice, Cassadee Pope has been doing very well in the country music since her win. Pope has been on tour for the past year with Rascal Flatts, released an album and had two hit singles off of Frame By Frame.
In the newly released music video for "I Wish I Could Break Your Heart" Pope looks beautiful in a variety of outfits and interesting landscapes. This video is driven heavily by the performance of Pope and does not contain another storyline woven throughout the video.
The video does put Pope front and center in front of the camera and allows her to showcase her talent as a musician and a performer, very similar to what she did on The Voice when she made songs like "Over You" and "Stupid Boy" her own.
A little over two minute into the video is when it really shines, allowing Pope to perform her single with her band. This allows fans to see just how she has come as a musician since her time on the Voice. The joy in her face while she is performing is clear and the song takes center stage as the guitars kick in and her incredible vocal range is showcased.
The only negative about this music video is that it focuses too much on the performance and doesn't feature the storyline element that really became interesting in the "Wasting All These Tears" video but in the end country music is welcoming and country fans are falling in love with Pope as a solo artist away from The Voice.
