Comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele have joined FX’s Fargo, a miniseries based on the classic Coen Brothers movie. The duo currently have their own Comedy Central sketch show titled Key & Peele.

FX said today that Peele and Key will play Webb Pepper and Bill Budge, respectively. The two are FBI partners who have a violent meeting with Lorne Malvo, played by Billy Bob Thornton. They then become obsessed with locating him again.

Brothers Joel and Ethan Coen, who won an Oscar for their script for the original film, are among the executive producers on the anticipated miniseries. Noah Hawley wrote the series and is executive producing.

Thornton’s Lorne Malvo is the central character of the series. He changes the life of insurance salesman Lester Nygaard (Martin Freeman). Colin Hanks, Allison Tolman and Bob Odenkirk are also starring in the series.

On Tuesday, FX released the first teaser clip for the show, notes Entertainment Weekly. The 30-second clip just shows Thornton scraping his windshield.

Fargo premiers on April 15 on FX. The show runs 10 episodes.
