Three years ago Conor Oberst released, The People's Key but since that album back in February 2011, Oberst has not been heard from. Now the Bright Eyes singer is releasing a new single and planning an upcoming tour.
The last time that Oberst released a true solo album was 2008 with his self titled released, Billboard reported.
Now Oberst is planning a new album, Upside Down Mountain, which will be released in May. The first single off of the album is "Hundreds of Ways" which has the country sound that has been rumored to be on this album, Rolling Stone magazine detailed.
In support of his album, Upside Down Mountain, he will be going on tour May 8th in North Carolina and the U.S. portion of the tour will make several stops and wrap up in Kentucky. Additional dates are being planned in New York for July.
