Daphne Oz, the daughter of daytime television host Dr. Oz and a star on ABC’s The Chew, has given birth to her first child with husband John Jovanovic. The baby girl was born on Wednesday in New York City.
Oz, 28, announced her pregnancy in September on The Chew, surprising her co-hosts with sonogram pictures instead of photos from her latest trip with Javanovic.
Her rep confirmed to Us Weekly today that the baby was born at 10:03 p.m. The baby weighed in at 6 lbs, 13 oz. She is 20.5 inches long.
Dr. Oz also shared the news on Twitter, announcing that he is one happy grandfather. “My daughter @DaphneOz delivered her first child! I'm holding my beautiful granddaughter now,” he wrote this morning. “Thank you for all the well-wishes & prayers!”
