Elisha Cuthbert will be staring in the upcoming comedy from NBC, One Big Happy.
Cuthbert will star opposite Nick Zano in the upcoming multi-camera comedy, Deadline reported.
One Big Happy will tell the story of Lizzy, a lesbian who gets pregnant just as her straight male best friend meets and gets marries to Prudence, who is the love of his life. The male best friend will be played by Zano. Cuthbert will be playing the role of Lizzy.
Cuthbert and Zano have worked together before on the very popular comedy sitcom Happy Endings. Once Happy Endings concluded the actors were in very high demand for other comedy roles.
The Hollywood Reporter added that Liz Feldman will be writing the upcoming comedy and will be an executive producer on the show.
Warner Bros. TV and Ellen DeGeneres’ A Very Good Production are behind the production of One Big Happy.
No release date has yet to be set for the comedy.
