Fifty years has passed since The Beatles first made their mark in the U.S.
It was February 9, 1964, that The Beatles had their first live television appearance on the 'Ed Sullivan Show'.
CBS will be airing a special called "The Night That Changed America" Sunday night to celebrate the anniversary.
According to Billboard, the special will show Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, the two surviving members of The Beatles, revisiting the Ed Sullivan Theater.
The special will feature an array of Grammy winning artists playing tribute to the legendary musicians. Some of the artists will include Keith Urban, John Legend, Dave Grohl, Peter Frampton, Alicia Keys, and Maroon 5, just to name a few.
David Letterman will sit down with McCartney and Starr to talk with them about their first American television appearance, their feelings with the performance and how it changed their career, and their lives forever.
Artists like Mumford and Sons, Lorde, and Lady Antebellum sit down to talk about how The Beatles affected them.
The show will air on CBS Sunday at 9 8/7 c.
