iTunes will be creating a new arts festival in Austin, Texas that will happen at the same time as the South by Southwest music and media conference.

According to the Associated Press, Apple executive Eddy Cue said about the event, "One of the cool things about trying to do the festival is that it's all about the music, the musicians and the fans. You want it in a really close atmosphere where the fans are getting to see these musicians in places they'll never see them again, because they play in much bigger venues."

iTunes brings books, music, and podcasts to people via the internet. This year they will be sponsoring a festival that brings music, film and interactive projects to audiences. The festival has been popular in London for the past seven years. The new festival in Austin will feature five night of music to be held at the ACL Live at the Moody Theater.

The festival will take place from March 11-15. iTunes has invited Coldplay, Keith Urban, Imagine Dragons and London Grammar to perform this year. Even if you are not going to make it Austin for the festival, you can stream all of the music through the iTunes Store, according to Entertainment Weekly.
