With less than two years to go, Fox has finally set up its Fantastic Four cast. The superhero team will be played by actors whose names have been linked to the project in recent months.

Sources for TheWrap said that House of Cards star Kate Mara, Fruitvale Station’s Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell and Miles Teller are close to signing deals with the studio. The news was also reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Fox has been working frantically to get its FF reboot off the ground, especially since it is scheduled for a June 16, 2015 release. In 2012, the studio has Jordan’s Chronicle director, Josh Trank, signed to helm the project.

Jordan has been linked to the project at least since May 2013. He said last fall that he was “definitely interested” in working with Trank again. He’s set to play Johnny Storm, a character who has been historically white.

Johnny Storm’s sister, Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman) will be played by Mara. She reportedly auditioned in January as writer Simon Kinberg completed a new rewrite.

Bell, who has motion-capture experience with The Adventures of Tintin, will play Ben Grimm (The Thing). Teller, who is set to set to be in the James Belushi biopic, will play the flexible Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic).

Fox previously brought the Fantastic Four to the screen in 2005 and 2007, to little critical success. The studio has the film rights to the Marvel characters, which explains why they are not linked to Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe.
