After rumors and some hints via social media, Guns N’ Roses confirmed they will be performing another Las Vegas residency this year.
According to USA Today Axl Rose and company will have the residency at the Hard Rock Hotel venue The Joint, as they did in 2012 for their run of shows Appetite for Democracy. The band's return, dubbed No Trickery! An Evening of Destruction, comprises nine shows at The Joint: May 21, 24, 25, 28, 30 and 31 and June 4, 6 and 7.
"If some is good, more is better!" Bobby Reynolds, vice president of booking for AEG Live Las Vegas, told USA Today. “That's our take on welcoming back Guns N' Roses to The Joint.”
Always one for controversy, Blabbermouth.net noted that Guns N’ Roses drew heavy criticism for their poster at the last residency; a picture depicting a woman being sexually assaulted by a robot, which was also the original cover for Appetite For Destruction, later becoming one of the inserts for the album.
Tickets for the new GN’R residency will be on sale Friday February 21 at 10am PST/ 1pm EST. The prices start at $49.50.
