A Harlem pastor has come under fire for an offensive message posted outside of his church.
Dr. James David Manning is the controversial pastor who leads ATLAH Worldwide Missionary Church. Manning has long criticized the Obama administration and is an opponent of the gradual progression of acceptance and protections for LGBT people.
The sign reads, “Obama has released the homo demons on the black man. Look out black woman, a white homo may take your man.”

“Obama has released these demons particularly upon the black males, this homosexual demon, to enforce as many black males to subscribe to ideas of a homosexual, perverted, LGBT as possible,” Manning says in his video before referencing Jason Collins.
Collins is a homosexual basketball player who has signed with the Brooklyn Nets. Manning refers to Collins as an, ‘alleged basketball player’ and states that his coming out is a conspiracy to get more black people to come out with Oprah Winfrey’s support.
Manning has also given his support to Uganda and Nigeria for their anti-gay laws. In Uganda the new law states that people who commit acts of ‘aggravated homosexuality’ will face life in prison.
According to The Huffington Post, Manning made news last November when he conducted an interview with a woman who claimed to have been a former classmate of President Obama. During the interview, the woman called the president a ‘cocaine using gay hustler’.
