After Philip Seymour died at the age of 46 of a drug overdose, Jared Padalecki, Supernatural star, took to twitter to voice his opinion.
Jared Padalecki went to twitter to voice his opinion of Seymour’s death saying that, “'Sad' isn't the word I'd use to describe a 46-year-old man throwing his life away to drugs." Padalecki went on to say that “Senseless” was more like it,” according to Jezebel.
After a rush of backlash from supporters of Seymour, Padalecki deleted the tweet and later clarified that he didn’t mean that “PSH was stupid or that addiction isn’t a reality.” He went on to say that what he meant was that he has a “different definition of the word “tragedy.”
Authorities said Seymour was found in his apartment on Sunday morning, dead with a needle in his arm, and bags of heroin lying around his house, according to NY Daily News.
This is not the first time Padalecki landed in hot water over something he said. After Justin Bieber’s friend Lil Za was arrested for drug possession, Padalecki accused the “Baby” singer of paying Lil Za to take the fall. Bieber’s fans remained loyal, and threated to not watch “Supernatural.”
