Justin Timberlake had to pull out of a sold out show in Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night on account of a mysterious illness. The show was completely sold out.

Hours before the show was supposed to take place Timberlake took to Twitter to address fans and explain that he would not be going on stage because of health reasons, Star Pulse reported.

A press release that was issued shortly after Timberlake took to Twitter explained that the show would go on as planned on Thursday and that fans that had tickets to the Wednesday night show could get their money back.

USA Today reported that Timberlake also expressed his apologizes to fans via his official website.

Timberlake is currently supporting his latest album, The 20/20 Experience which features singles like, "Mirrors," "TKO" and "Drink You Away."

The "Rock Your Body" singer spent last summer on a combined tour with Jay-Z who is featured on Timberlake's album but now the singer is going off on his own to promote the record.
