Kanye West dedicated part of his show on Feb. 15 to defend Drake following the Rolling Stone controversy.
West went on one of his infamous rants at a Yeezus tour stop in New Jersey, according to Baller Status. The rapper slammed Rolling Stones for trying to create a fight between the two artists.
“I’m gonna tell you what it is about magazines,” West said. “They always be trying to pit n****s against each other and that ain’t going down no more. So tonight it ain’t none of that. We love Drake. We love every motherf***er that put their heart into this mother***in’ music.”
“If anything, we gon’ go after mother***ers writing that negativity. Before they print some sh** like that, they need to check with me and him and see if it’s okay before they get ran up in their motherf***in’ office. It only costs $250 to beat your ass,” West concluded.
According to Bet, the outspoken rapper also talked about Grammy winner Macklemore. Kanye hinted that Macklemore’s nominations, and his lack of them, were due to politics.
“Giving me two nominations is like giving a waiter a two dollar tip, Macklemore know what it is,” West said.
