Kanye West has revealed he’s releasing a movie based on his Yeezus tour, which will be directed by Hype Williams.
The concert film’s trailer is currently on West’s website, and no details are given besides the fact that it’s “coming to theaters.” The trailer features his song “Coldest Winter,” which was on his album 808s and Heartbreak.
Mixed in with footage from his shows are scenes of nature, such as horses running in a pack in the snow.
MTV News reports West frequently works with Williams, and they have worked together in a film capacity before on West’s short film Runaway.
As we previously reported, West is working on another film with American Psycho director Bret Easton Ellis.
Ellis confirmed their collaboration but it isn’t clear when the project will be done.
“It’s in Kanye-land and that’s subject to a whole other timeframe. He came and asked me to write the film. I didn’t want to at first. Then I listened to Yeezus,” he said.
