Oscar nominated Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monáe will be performing at the upcoming NBA All Star Game.
Williams will open the game in New Orleans and already has a few surprises up his sleeve.The "Happy" singer will feature a surprise chart-topping musical guest. The guest has not yet been announced. Williams will be performing while the players are being introduced, Radio News reported.
Monáe will be playing during the halftime show, she is set to play hits off of her Electric Lady with some local New Orleans musical legends.
Lamar will performing during the Slam Dunk contest that features the best of the best in the NBA dunking live on TV. The Slam Dunk contest and the All Star Game will be aired on TNT, AP added. The events start on Feb. 16 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
