A Sweden school teacher and her classes place valentines throughout Stockholm for strangers to read on Friday.
The card read: "I just want you to know that you are loved and that you are needed. Things might be difficult now, but hang in there. Signed, a friend."
"They were the right words at the right time, and they went straight into my heart. I put the card back in the envelope and left it for someone else to find," said Karen Swartz Larsson in an interview with the Huffington Post.
Larsson, 37, The Loop reports, was visiting her mother at a Maryland hospital last year when she read the note.
When she returned to Stockholm, she told her students this year about it and Larsson and the classes came up with the idea.
The two classes are made up of fourth to seventh graders.
According to the Huff Post Larsson said, βOn buses and subway trains, in various stations, in places of worship, in cafes and in a hospital. In as many places as possible.β
