Rock 'n' roll band KISS will be entering into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame but to the disappoint of many fans the group will not be performing at the induction ceremony.
The group was not able to come to an agreement regarding what the group should perform at the ceremony which will be on April 10th in New York City.
The band posted a statement regarding their not performing at the ceremony on their official website. The band admitted that the situation was emotional and that no one was winning.
"Our intention was to celebrate the entire history of Kiss and give credit to all members, including longtime present members Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer, and additionally Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr all who have made this band what it is, regardless of the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame's point of view," the band wrote on its web site. "Although Kiss has moved forward far longer without them, Ace and Peter are at the very foundation of what we have built and this would all be impossible had they not been a part of it in the beginning."
The group has had not had the original line up for thirteen years and the band explained that if they played again it would not enhance the memories they have, AP reported.
Fans have been hoping for a reunion for many years and are disappointed at the news. The public is allow to purchase tickets and attend the event.
