Due to the indecisiveness of the 40-year-old band, Kiss, New York City will not get to experience ‘rock and roll all night’ during the April 10, Rock and Roll Hall of fame induction.
The original lineup played together from 1973 to 1980. The band reunited from 1996 to 2000 without Frehley and Criss.
The members are unable to agree on which line-up will be fortunate enough to play in New York City.
Either the original line up, consisting of Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley would rock the hall of fame with a live performance, or the current lineup of Stanley, Simmons, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer would.
Former guitarists, Vinnie Vincent and Mark St. John both remain unmentioned.
Criss, who lives in Wall Township, N.J., refers to the decision as "disgraceful."
On Sunday, the Kiss website stated that the band will not play with any lineup, referring to it as “an emotional situation where there is no way to please everyone,” as reported in Ultimate Classic Rock
