Lil Za, also known as Xavier Smith, 20, was charged with drug possession and vandalizing the Los Angeles Police station after Justin Bieber’s house was raided earlier this month.
The entertainer was in possession of oxycodone, and MDMA, which is also known as ecstasy. According to Rueters, if he is charged, Lil Za could get a sentence up to 4 years. Za was also convicted of vandalizing the Los Angeles police station after he broke their phone.
According to the Associated Press, authorizes initially arrested the singer on suspicion of possession of cocaine, but later recanted saying that he did not have that drug.
Lil Za and Bieber have been friends for several years, and Za has been staying with the “Baby” singer in his Calabasas home until police raided it.
Although, it was Bieber’s home that was raided, Lil Za was the only one arrested. Bieber is still being investigated for the egging of his neighbor’s house, which resulted in $20,000 worth of damage.
