First Lady Michelle Obama swept into New York City with some health advice for kids: "Drink up!"
Michelle Obama visited the New Museum in New York City to take part in the Taking Back the Streets exhibit, which is developed by WAT-AAH , a line of premium bottled water for children. The exhibit is a celebration of street art inspired by Drink Up , an initiative from the Partnership for Healthier America which encourages all Americans to drink more water. The New York Post reports that Mrs. Obama signed a giant paint-by-numbers piece that was created by a group of NYC eighth graders. Talking to the young students, the First Lady praised their drive and creativity by saying, "I am honored to be here and so proud of you guys. Thank you so much for this and keep it up, keep it up you guys are role models for so many kids," reports ModVibe .
The First Lady is in New York to celebrate the anniversary of her Let's Move! campaign, which fights against childhood obesity. Let's Move! was started by Michelle Obama on February 9, 2010.
