A Michigan police officer has been fired after strapping a woman to a chair and allegedly cutting off her hair.

Charda Gregory was arrested at the Suez Motel in Warren, Michigan, for trashing a room after claiming to have been drugged at a party.

According to WDIV, the officer was removing Gregory's weave because it was considered a weapon and she did it to limit the risk of a suicide.

WXYZ Action News reported that Officer Bernadette Najor yanked the prisoner's head, took scissors to Gregory's hair, and began cutting it.

Gregory stated that she now has places in her head that are bald because the officer tore her real hair out.

Gregory's mother is very frustrated with the happenings.

"No words can describe how I feel about that right now. I'd rather not say exactly how I feel about that, I'm just very upset," she stated.

Apparently this isn't the first time Gregory has been involved with the law. She has been arrested for assaulting a police officer in the past.

All charges pressed against Gregory are reported to have been dropped after the incident with the officer.

Najor has been fired and other officers that were present during the situation are being investigated.
