Today, George Harrison of The Beatles would have turned 71-years-old. His dear friend and Beach Boys co-founder, Mike Love, decided to commemorate fellow musician and friend, with a previously unheard song, “Pisces Brothers.”

The song was originally written in 2004, three years after Harrison passed away, as reported in USA Today. Starting today, it is now available to the rest of the world. “Pisces Brothers” came together when The Beatles, Mike Love, Donovan and Mia Farrow traveled to India in 1968 in order to learn about spirituality from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

"This being the 50th anniversary of The Beatles coming to America, I wanted to commemorate this incredibly significant trip we all took together to India, at the Maharishi’s invitation," said Love, according to Rolling Stone

“Pisces Brothers” refers to both George Harrison and Mike Love sharing the same astrology sign, Pisces. To this day, Love continues to demonstrate Transcendental Meditation he learned in India.
