With some negative media speculation revolving around Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz Tour, the pop star has still been showing off her vocal abilities.

According to The Huffington Post, the 21-year-old singer performed a cover of Outkast’s hit single, “Hey Ya!” while in Tacoma, Wash.

A video of Cyrus’ country-esque version of the song was posted to YouTube on Feb. 17 and generated over 200,000 hits.

However, this isn’t the first cover she’s performed that has gotten high praise. For MTV Unplugged, she’s covered Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” Artic Monkeys’ “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?” and Madonna’s “Don’t Tell Me.”

She has also recently been shown covering Lana Del Ray’s “Summertime Sadness.”

The former Hannah Montana child star has been criticized by parents lately because of her overly sexualized tour. According to some parents, the show is too provocative due to its sexy innuendos, dance movements (her famous twerking, of course) and very tiny outfits.

However, with covers like this, how can you resist seeing her show? Watch the video below and let us know what you think of her version!
