A teenage mother admitted Friday at Northumberland County Prison, where she is an inmate, to being involved in a murdering spree that spread throughout the country.

19-year-old Miranda Barbour, who was convicted of murder last year, stated in a recorded interview that she was involved in a satanic cult when she was thirteen in which she killed so many individuals that she doesn’t know how many victims there was.

“When I hit 22, I stopped counting,” Barbour said.

According to the Dalton Daily Citizen, Barbour claims to have only killed “bad people” and that she was coming forward because she wanted to be honest.

Police from several states are now working together to solve these cold cases, including the death of Barbour’s 1-year-old child’s father.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in Barbour’s murder case against Troy LeFerrara, a case in which she pled guilty, ABC 15 reports. The death penalty is also being seeked for Elytte Barbour, Miranda Barbour’s new husband.

Barbour stated that she does not want police to let her out of jail because, if they do, she would kill again.
