The Muppets’ own Miss Piggy will be wearing a wedding dress designed by Vivienne Westwood in the upcoming film Muppets Most Wanted.
When the film hits theaters March 21, Miss Piggy will be seen in other custom pieces created by the famous designer such as a houndstooth-check jacket and a lace gown.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the film will feature The Muppets gang in Europe, with Miss Piggy yearning for a wedding to Kermit. It isn’t confirmed whether or not they will actually tie the knot in the film, but Miss Piggy is definitely seen in her dream dress nonetheless.
It was revealed by production designer Eve Stewart that there could be a wedding between Miss Piggy and Kermit in the film when it was still called The Muppets…Again!. Stewart said there would be a wedding at the Tower of London, Cinema Blend reports.
When Disney released the image of Miss Piggy in her Vivienne Westwood gown and tulle veil, she said of a wedding “You’ll have to see the movie to find out.”
Miss Piggy and Kermit did get married in The Muppets Take Manhattan, but it seems the ceremony might not have been legal.
